We are looking for Accountant, Gateway Singapore to support the to assist the Senior Finance Business Partner – Asia through accurate accounting operations, timely reporting, and compliance with local statutory requirements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on accounting work and collaborating with stakeholders across the business.
Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, bank and inter-company reconciliations
Perform month-end closing and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial records
Prepare and process invoices, customer payments, statements, and follow up on outstanding receivables
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports including cash flow and Group reporting
Liaise with local tax agents and auditors to ensure statutory and tax compliance
Support the Senior Finance Business Partner with reporting and ad-hoc finance projects
Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company finance policies
Work closely with internal stakeholders on finance-related matters
Support inventory processing and monthly audit activities
Maintain confidentiality and carry out other finance duties as required
Experience handling a full set of accounts, including month-end closing
Experience with local tax filing and statutory compliance
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
Professional accounting qualifications (e.g. CPA, CA) are an advantage but not mandatory
Good knowledge of accounting principles and processes
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
Hands-on finance role with end-to-end exposure
